Every new marketplace ships with For Sale, Vehicles, Real Estate, Jobs, Services, Electronics, Home & Garden, Sports & Leisure, and Other. Delete the ones you don’t need. Add your own. Two levels deep — For Sale → Bicycles, Electronics → Phones — so browsing a parent shows everything underneath. You’re not starting from a blank page. You’re starting from a sensible default and editing it.
Search buyers don’t have to fight
Keyword search spans titles, descriptions, and any text field you flag. Category filters include subcategories automatically. Price is a range slider out of the box. Add custom fields — brand, condition, size, whatever your marketplace sells — and each one becomes a filter or a sort option. Buyers type what they want and the right listings come back. That shouldn’t be a premium feature. Here it isn’t.
Messaging that keeps everyone honest
Buyers and sellers talk through the platform — one private thread per listing per buyer. No email addresses scraped, no contacts exported, no deals struck in the shadows.
