Fair Use Policy

Every Yclas Neo plan — including Free — includes unlimited marketplaces, listings, members, and staff users. Our goal is to keep pricing simple and our limits as permissive as possible. We don't want you to worry about usage limits and paywalls, and we expect the usage of the vast majority of our customers to fall comfortably within the free plan.

“Unlimited” means we don't meter or charge per marketplace, listing, or member — it doesn't mean infinite resources. Like every hosted service, there is a physical limit to storage and bandwidth. When your usage places unusual pressure on our infrastructure, we'll contact you to put together a custom plan.

Examples of extensive usage

We don't enforce hard caps, but the following are examples of usage that falls outside fair use. Don't worry about occasional spikes — a viral weekend or a seasonal rush is perfectly fine.

• Consistently storing high volumes of images. Around 100 GB of uploads per month, or 500 GB of total image storage across all of your marketplaces. Image storage is our primary cost driver.
• Consistently sending high volumes of email. Around 50,000 transactional emails per month — listing alerts, messages, and account notifications.
• Operating an unusually large number of marketplaces. Each marketplace you create runs on its own dedicated database and compute. Thousands of mostly-empty sites is not a reasonable use of a single subscription.
• Sharing a subscription across unrelated organizations. Yclas Neo subscriptions are meant to be used by a single organization. Reselling access or sharing paid features with individuals or businesses outside the registered organization is strictly prohibited and may result in suspension or termination.

What do we mean by “consistently”?

Sustained usage over several months. Occasional spikes are expected and perfectly fine — if high usage continues for three or four months in a row, it suggests ongoing advanced needs, and we'll reach out to discuss a tailored plan to keep everything running smoothly.

Custom plans

When your usage surpasses this Fair Use Policy, we'll offer you a custom plan based on your actual usage, invoiced on top of your existing subscription. If you decide not to continue under a custom plan, we'll give you ample time to transition to another solution with minimal disruption to your marketplaces.
